Home ▸ Applications ▸ Industrial-Grade Erosion Control & Soil Stabilization
Erosion is more than a landscape issue—it is a structural threat. When water movement undermines roadways, bridge abutments, or building foundations, the result is costly instability.
Pressure grouting is the most effective way to lock soil in place, turning loose, permeable earth into a solid, erosion-resistant mass.
Black Jack Grout Pumps manufactures the high-pressure injection systems needed to penetrate deep into the soil strata.
Our US-made equipment allows you to bind loose materials together, restoring the ground’s load-bearing capacity and stopping further washout before it leads to a total collapse.

Erosion control requires a pump that can overcome the backpressure of compacted soil while maintaining a steady flow.
Erosion control requires a mix that can grab the soil and stay there. Our proprietary cementitious grout is optimized for ground defense:
1. Deep Pore Penetration: Specifically formulated to travel through loose sands and gravels to create a unified structural mass. This ensures you are gluing the soil particles together to stop future migration.
2. Water Movement Resistance: Hardens quickly even in high-moisture environments to prevent washout during the injection process. This chemical stability is essential for shoreline work where tidal movement or high water tables would normally dilute standard concrete.
3. High Compressive Strength: Improves the load-bearing capacity of the ground to support heavier structures or traffic loads. By increasing the density of the soil, you turn a high-risk area into a stable foundation that can withstand years of environmental stress.
1. Viscosity Matching: Always test your soil density first. Thinner mixes are better for sandy soils (permeation), while thicker mixes are better for creating structural pillars in loose fill (compaction).
2. Stage Your Injections: For deep stabilization, work in lifts. Inject the bottom layer first, let it take an initial set, and then work your way up to ensure a solid column of support.
3. Watch for Surface Breakout: Monitor your pressure gauges closely. If pressure drops suddenly, your grout may have found a path of least resistance to the surface; stop and relocate your probe.
From steep hillsides to critical bridge repairs, we are here to help you stop erosion in its tracks.
