The optional catalytic converter muffler reduces emissions to acceptable levels according to the manufacturers specifications. Some assembly is required - the original muffler must be removed prior to installing the new unit. This is done easily by the removal of 3 fasteners, then replacing the original muffler with the new converter/muffler.
